Program Updates
All Panini WNBA Player of the Day kits have been shipped. Everyone should have their kits by October 3. If you do not, email us the name and address of your shop AFTER OCTOBER 3 and we will provide you tracking info. Also, if you have “issues” with your UPS deliveries, be sure to leave a note for your UPS driver to leave it with a neighbor.
Registration for the 2025 Panini WNBA Player of the Day hobby shop promotion is CLOSED as we have reached the maximum of 500 shops. If you did not register your shop in time and are interested in hosting the promotion, email us the name and address of your shop and if a spot opens up, we will contact you.
The inaugural Panini WNBA Player of the Day hobby shop promotion is being hosted at 500 hobby shops during October/November. Eligible hobby shops will receive an invitation to register from Panini. Upon receiving the email please register ASAP as space is limited.
SHIPPING UPDATE: All 2024-25 Panini NBA Player of the Day promotional kits are being shipped between April 23-30. Please do not contact us about the status of your kit before May 7. Beginning on May 8 we will provide UPS Tracking info upon request if you email us the name and address of your shop. Shops on the West Coast should wait a few extra days as kits ship from NY.
Registration began yesterday (4/10) for the 2024-25 Panini NBA Player of the Day Hobby Shop promotion. Please register ASAP as we have a very short window between registration and kits being shipped. If you did not complete your NFL Player of the Day evaluation/sweepstakes forms you will be able to register but your kits will not be shipped until those NFL forms are completed. If you do not see an invite to register for NBA POD sent to you on April 10 and again on April 11, please check your spam. If it’s not there, email us the name/address of your shop.
Brian Liddell, a 44-year-old NBA trading card collector from Chicago, was selected as the 2023-24 Panini NBA Player of the Day National Sweepstakes grand prize winner. He celebrated his Grand Prize on January 16 at Tim’s Baseball Cards with Chicago Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis. The event included a Q&A with Buzelis, box breaks with the 40+ VIP guests, photos and autographs. Check out the details, HERE
Panini NFL Player of the Day promotional kits began shipping via UPS on Friday, January 24 and all kits are expected to be out by Wednesday January 29. Please do not check on the status of your kit before February 7 — especially if you are located on the West Coast as our kits ship from NY.
SHIPPING UPDATE: 2024 Panini NFL Player of the Day promotional kits are scheduled to ship between January 16-23. We will send all registered shops a shipping update email once kits begin shipping. If there are any further delays we will post updates here. Do not email about the status of your promotional kit.
Congratulations to Neal of Marietta, Georgia and his local hobby shop Champion Sports Cards for being selected the Grand Prize Winner of the 2023 Panini NFL Player of the Day National Sweepstakes. They celebrated the Grand Prize with a VIP Party and Box Break on October 16 with Atlanta sports great Brian Jordan. Photos and highlights from the event are posted HERE. Also, we expect to open registration for the 2024 Panini NFL Player of the Day promotion in November. So if you completed your sweepstakes and evaluation forms for the previous promotions, keep an eye out for an email invite to register.
The DEADLINE for submitting your NBA Player of the Day Sweepstakes Entry & Evaluation Form is THIS WEEK. If you are awaiting the contact info for your winner it is OK to just include the mailing address of the shop and we’ll send you their prize if they win. Failure to submit the forms will make your shop ineligible for the upcoming NFL Player of the Day promotion.
We hope you and your customers are enjoying the Panini NBA Player of the Day promotion. As we indicated in our recent email to participating shops, you are free to extend the July 30 deadline until August 30 due to the delays in shipping promotional kits. If you need to extend your promotion beyond August 30, please email us to let us know. Also be sure to complete your National Sweepstakes Entry Form and Program Evaluation Forms at the conclusion of you in-store promotion.
GOOD NEWS. 2023-24 Panini NBA Player of the Day promotional kits are scheduled to ship to hobby shops next week (June 12-14). Do not contact us about the status of your kit until June 20 — especially if you are on the West Coast. If your kit does not arrive by June 20, email us the name and address of your shop and we will provide tracking information.
Hobby Shop Registration for the 2023-24 Panini NBA Player of the Day Hobby Shop promotion begins today (May 8). If you previously participated in the Panini Player of the Day promotion and fulfilled the requirements, you should have received an email today (May 8) with a link to register. If you did not receive one, be sure to check your Spam before contacting us. If you do not see the email invite in your Spam, email us from the link on this website and be sure to include the name and address of your shop and the name of the shop owner/manager. If you are eligible to participate an email invite will be sent. NBA POD promotional kits will ship during the first two weeks of June.
The 2023-24 Panini NBA Player of the Day hobby shop promotion will begin registration the first week of May and promotional kits are expected to ship to registered hobby shop in early June. Check here for updates.

GOOD NEWS — 2023 Panini NFL Player of the Day promotional kits will ship December 14-18. Due to the expected holiday delays, please do not contact us about the status of your kit until December 26. If you do not receive it by 12/26, email us and we will provide you tracking information. If you plan to be closed around the holidays, please alert your UPS drive to leave it with a nearby business. Kits returned to us may not ship back to you until mid-January.
