Player of the Day

For more than a decade the Panini Player of the Day hobby promotion has helped hobby dealers sell more than one million additional packs of trading cards and award over 500,000 prizes including 15,000 autographed cards to collectors,  In addition, as the grand prize winner collectors have had the chance  to “spend a day” with a player.

Initially launched as an  NFL trading card promotion with NFL PLAYERS in 2001, Panini and the NHLPA joined together to offer the promotion to hockey card collectors in the U.S. and Canada in 2010. The promotion was introduced in partnerhip with the NBA to the delight of hobby shops and basketball card collectors in 2016.

The program is free to hobby shops.

Panini America manufactures fully licensed trading cards and stickers for the NBA, NFL, NFL PLAYERS, MLBPA and FIFA World Cup. The company also owns exclusive entertainment licenses with Disney, Justin Bieber and Michael Jackson, and more than 600 global licenses with other sports and entertainment properties such as Disney, DreamWorks, Warner Bros., and other key properties. Panini also has exclusive partnerships with Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc., the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and Pro Football Hall of Fame.
